2016 La Manga

(Spain) Training Camp Report

The weather was on our side which meant there was lots of training and play. Coaching started each day at 1000hrs through to 1400hrs with a short break for lunch, with many continuing to play matches under their own steam into the afternoon. Training progressed during the week from ground strokes, volleys, serves to match tactics, singles and doubles. The team cohesion and morale was evident throughout the week with all players benefitting from mixed matches across teams, culminating in a red v blue team competition on the last day.
