2023 ATTA Training & Championships + Inter Unit Competition

​

The ATTA Training & Championships + Inter Unit Competition for 2023 took place at the Aldershot Garrison Sports Centre (AGSC) on 20 to 23 Feb 23 with a record number of a 130 players taking part. In addition to that it was fantastic to see the return of the Inter Unit Competition for its second year running. Last year ATTA saw 12 teams enter and to our delight we had a huge increase to 29 teams participate this year. As the Inter Unit Competition continues to be a huge success it will now be an annual part of these Championships so players can compete as a team and individually. Players had a fantastic training package at the start with by our special guest coach Jason (Sugrue) with no team with him this year (Greenhouse Sports) along with the three days covering the Competition plus Tournament itself organised by Padre Nicola Frail, our ATTA Chair.

- Men's (Open) Singles: Bibek beat Pete

 

- Ladies' Singles: Hils beat Nicola

 

- Men's (Open) Doubles: Matt & Pete beat Daniel & Michael

 

- Ladies' Doubles: Hils & Nicola beat Sandy & Hannah

 

- Mixed Doubles: Nicola & Bibek beat Hils & Pete

 

- Plate (Open) Singles: Narayan beat Ish

 

- Novice (Open) Singles: Nicole beat Adam

 

* Merit Award: Rosemarie for stepping up plus assisting the Tournament Referee

 

* Appreciation Mention: TY to Rory Scott from TT England for standing in as our Tournament Referee

and at short notice too; his advise expertise was very much needed

 

- Inter Unit Winners: 13 Sig Regt - Team A

 

- Inter Unit Runners Up: 13 Sig Regt - Team A
